[Damon is not happy, and definitely not drunk enough for this. At first, he assumed he'd been hallucinating, on some trip after drinking bad blood. However, he has been roaming Wonderland for hours on this bright and early morning, while everyone else was likely asleep. He’s poked his head in where it doesn’t belong, waiting for the hallucination to fade. Spoilers: it doesn’t. He finally studies the communication device, accepting that this is either one very long dream or he’s actually here. Somehow. He’s on the main floor, pressed up against the marble pillar, staring up at the ceiling. It takes minimal effort to skim through previous entries before he switches to video.]

Question #1, for the masses: How drunk do you have to be for this place to start making sense? Because I’m starting to think this poor, lonely bottle's not gonna cut it. [Damon looks to the bottle in his hand with a little sigh, tapping his fingers on its surface.] Looks like we're not in Kansas anymore, Toto.

[He takes a long drink, swallows, and sends the camera a slow but absolutely charming smirk:]

Question #2: what’s the one thing you wish someone had told you on your first day in the merry old Land of Wonder, but failed to?

[Damon points a finger at the camera with the hand that's still partly wound around the bottle] And go. Best answers get a pony.

Well if they did, I wouldn't blame them. [Jowan answers, giving the other man a quick, uncertain look. It's probably not going to help convince him that Jowan isn't beating himself up excessively really.]

I thought they would at first. [He admits.] When Ser Cullen saw I was here... I thought with him being a templar and knowing I'm a blood mage, he'd want me locked up at least. But he didn't.

I've been given more chances here than in Thedas, and I owe a lot of people thanks for that.

I think that'd be a bit of an overreaction on their part, but if that's how you enjoy it, who am I to say anything? [Damon tilts his head to the side, shaking his head a little as he looks at him.

He has had so many chances given to him which he never deserved genuinely never deserved, and he lashed out over and over again.]

Well wouldn't you want to thank the people who gave you a chance when no one else would? [Jowan asks in return, though from the sound of it he doubts Damon's ever been in that sort of situation.]

Can't you imagine what it would be like if everyone thought you were a monster but someone was willing to let you try and show that you're more than that?

[This is all coming too close to home, and Damon's not the sort to make admittance unless he is incredibly drunk, which is also usually when he's at his most dangerous because all of those emotions. Granted, there's a difference because he actually is a monster. He's a vampire. It's part of the gig.]
