When things get brought here knowing about it first could be useful.

And before anyone asks, no- it's not going personal. I don't care whether you're part of any of the questions just what you already knew and what's possible. It's from a science perspective.

Magic? Sort of. As far as I know it's not native to our world, but we've had... visitors who wield a form of it.
Supernatural creatures? ( e.g. nazi vampires ) Not naturally occurring. If there's anything qualified as a 'supernatural creature' where I come from, typically they were created - either on purpose or accidentally. Except for the nazi vampires, of course.
Other non-human things? ( e.g. gods ) our gods turned out to be less gods and more realm-travelling tourists with attitude problems. Oh, and there were aliens.
Portals? Yes, but this is a relatively new discovery. Also a pain in the ass.
Resurrecting the dead? ....Sort of. It's complicated.
Reality altering? Not as far as I know. Although our reality feels fairly altered from what we thought it was three years ago.
Alternate/pocket dimensions? Yes. Again this is a relatively new discovery and much of it is still in discovery and theory back home. Some of the experts on it have landed here with us though, so I suppose that's a good thing?
Something 'unusual' not specified? Our world tends to lean more towards the technology aspect of explanations than 'magic'. But there's been a lot of luck and unexpected happenings that mimic the same results at times.
