[The video flips on. It’s immediately clear that Tara isn’t planning on speaking to anyone in particular.]

Hey. Tara. Not sure where I am. Not sure what happened to my phone, so uh, whoever this belongs to, sorry. Crazy lady needs to talk it out.

[She runs her hand through her hair.]

I was…bowling? Fuck, yes, that’s right. I don’t...feel like someone took over, though. Don’t remember anything if they did.

[She curses and shuts the video off.]

[Well well well, would you look at that. Another one of those trolls, though this one looks larger than most. Perhaps that's why her smile looks more like that of something that's going to devour everyone and everything. She taps her cane against the floor exactly 7 times and smiles a little wider.]

This is not where I was expecting to end up, much less while I was in the middle of closing a rather high-profile case.

So. I would very much be obliged to whoever could show me a proper exit so that justice may triumph upon my return. At the very least, I would be grateful to those who would direct me to a method with which I may send the proper forms in triplicate that would allow me to postpone the trial until a later date.

[Her smile drops just a little, barely a fraction of an inch, when she mentions postponement.]

[ After arriving at the beach and spending a couple of minutes being downright confused and ultimately decided that the huge mansion should be the first place to go, Axel had noticed one of his pockets was heavier than usual. And upon inspection he found a small device. One with a lot of buttons. What do you do in a situation like this? You press them of course! All of them. At first it broadcasts audio only and the sound of snow crunching beneath someone's feet is heard. ]

This thing doesn't make any sense. [ He presses another button and the audio stops. Another buttom makes it video instead and a nice view of the sky along with some strands of red hair are seen. ]

What is this thing even fo- [ Off. ] Come on. [ On. ] Way to be useless. [ Off. ] You would think it would come with some instruction! [ On. And finally instead of the sky, his enter face is shown. And he somehow looks annoyed and amused all at the same time. ]


Sheesh am I glad we don't have these back home.
