[It's been two weeks now since her arrival. The device she’d eventually found on her person was almost exactly like the scroll she used back home, which made it easy enough to access the network and read through what it has to offer. She'd done her research before reaching out to anyone, reading through the pamphlets provided and even combing back through recent messages to see what other sorts of people might be here. All in all, it's been a full couple of weeks, not to mention she'd been more or less welcomed to Wonderland by an event that had people singing spontaneously about their passions, followed by— Well. She doesn't want to think about the part that came after.

It still doesn't make complete sense, and even after all that research, she has more questions than answers, but reaching out to make contact with people seems like the most logical next step. She's spoken to a few individuals, but she hasn't addressed the network at large yet. Time to change that.

When the feed opens, it shows a steady close-up of a serious-looking girl of about seventeen, looking straight ahead as though making eye contact with whoever's on the other end— serious, but not unfriendly. Her eyes are gold, with a sharp angle to them that seems just a little bit inhuman.]

I’m still working on finding my way around, but I’ve noticed you have quite the library here.

[An innocuous enough comment, and genuinely relevant to her interests.]

I was looking at some records there. They cover events going over the last few years. Pretty colorful place, isn’t it? I also noticed a lot of mentions of magic, in addition to the recent message concerning the Magic Library, but nothing about Dust. Are there that many people here who can use magic freely, without needing Dust as a catalyst?

[Or are they outliers? She's certainly not one of them, but she can't help being curious. Outside of stories, it's unheard of back in Remnant.]

It's obvious that Wonderland itself has its own brand of magic. For those who can use it, have you found that the environment effects your own abilities?

[ She leans away from the camera clearly trying to grab someone. But that someone is too fast and is out of the room before Yang can get a good grip on her. She turns back to the camera with a shrug. ]

I have a very serious question for all of you, what the hell was with all that singing? Please tell me that doesn’t happen every weekend. I mean I like a good song now and then but that was a little...much.

[ She flops backwards dramatically landing on a bed -not her bed, because her bed is suspended above this bed using books. Its fine. The laws of physics don’t apply to her. ]

Besides singing what’s there even to do around here. I’m assuming you don’t have any Grimm to fight. Lame.

So what’s keeping you all from going crazy? Assuming you haven’t gone crazy already.

[ She pauses for a moment thinking and then clearly deciding. ]

Also, whoever left that cake in the kitchen...hi. I ate your cake. Please make another.

[ She winks before turning the device off. ]

[ There is something out on the Checkerboard Hills. It appears to be sleeping, though after a minute or two of uninterrupted snoozing, there's a stretch revealing long lion's legs, a tail curling and wings unfurling. One eye opens, and then, the beak. ]

So many observations about this world. That it takes and never gives.

Typical.

Your own insecurities will be your downfall. One would hope something inside of you could compel you to rethink your doubts. Being consumed, I fear, would be unpleasant.
