[Okay, so using the network isn't really his thing. Hasn't been for a long time, he never really got the hang of it...Whatever (See? He's learned a new phrase thanks to the last event to express his lack of caring. Progress!).

But, now that said event is over, and he's spent a little time mulling over what it all means (he still doesn't get the whole concept of high school), one thing is now glaringly obvious.

Glaringly.

And that one thing that is now painfully, glaringly obvious is what's first and forefront in his mind, after allowing some time to pass, to let the idiot think he's safe and in the clear. And he's not going to chase him down, because that's just stupid. Besides, it always ends with one of them punching the other, and while that will be so extremely satisfying, fair warning is fair warning.

Which is all this is.]

JACK. SPARROW.

[And that's it. That's all his little blip on the network radar consists of.]

[Seated in a chair with her feet propped up on a nearby little table, Rose Tyler is attempting to figure some things out. She's almost entirely convinced the TARDIS will show up at some point or her mobile will ring and she'll be right on her way. So she's casual and calm, not really in a big rush to say what's on her mind.

She toys with her communicator for a moment, which causes it to drop. Cursing under her breath, she hops out of her chair to pick it up, and resumes her casual slouched down position, feet back up on the table.
]

Captain's log -

[She pauses, laughing at herself.]

Nah, that's total rubbish. What about this one?

[Barely able to keep a straight face, she sits upright and slides the communicator across the table so only half of her face is view. She's now pulling a dramatic face that some damsel in distress would before she was killed by a robot overlord.]

Look anything like one of those awful sci-fi movies, then?

[It's followed up with a sigh, and then she gets down to business. Her communicator is picked up and set on her lap, and she stares down at it.]

Sorry. Don't really have a knack for using these things yet. Thing is, I'm looking for my friend, thought that maybe he might be here? He goes by the Doctor, yeah? And he's always going on like a big excited kid 'bout things nobody understands. But I do, some of the time anyway, and -

[Nope, keep those emotions in Rose. Keep 'em in. A hand goes up to her mouth, her fingers curling up against her lips as she becomes increasingly more worried over all this.]

I've gotta find him, if he's here. He's hopeless when he's out there all on his own.

Well, I'd like to say that a lot of this is fairly familiar, but I'm afraid it's not. You'd think that being from a fairytale land with an Evil Queen would have prepared me better for vines that attack people. Luckily I haven't encountered them yet, but I imagine when I do it won't be pretty.

[ There's a heavy sigh because this is far easier than chatting with Emma about everything from the last Event. Dealing with all of this makes it so much easier to ignore the cloud hanging over their hand. They just couldn't seem to work past their baggage--at all. Now with this stuff hanging over their head it seems impossible. ]

Mirrors with people behind them? Not a difficult concept. The Evil Queen had one. [ He knew because of his time with her which was really just code for being her puppet. Thrown into her bed chambers like he wasn't a person. He still doesn't wanna talk about some of that with people. As the Huntsman he never got to deal with what happened to him. He was thrust into the role of Graham Humbert so quickly. ]

If you need any assistance I'm quite skilled at helping. I suppose if you've read the stories of the Huntsman that is the most accurate description of my skill set. [ He really hates referring to his life as a storybook, but to most people it was. He has no problem admitting it anymore either. He's met many people who are different and strange. He's hardly going to stand out if he tells them who he is. ]

[With the Doctor's arrival and a new companion, Amy feels that it's finally time to do something that's been long overdue: A companion slumber party. It's mostly an excuse for gossip on the Doctor but also a chance to get to know the others better as well. She's spent all morning getting things set up and making space in her room to host everyone.]

Right, since it looks like there's another of us here and a Doctor as well, I say we have ourselves a little get together and get to know each other better. We can help her get settled in and learn a thing or two about the Doctor. I'm sure there's plenty of things we all have to say about him. So whenever you're ready, head on over to room 207. I've got a few things set up but feel free to bring anything with you or we can always pull it out of the closet. See you soon.

[Her room will be set up with soft fairy lights that twinkle like stars against her blue walls. A vase of sunflowers sits on her bedside table. Various bits of arts and crafts projects resembling her Doctor sit about on a table. But there are also snacks and drinks sitting about and plenty of blankets and pillows.]

[ooc: feel free to set up your own threads! Everyone can mingle and chat and dish about the Doctor and paint their nails or braid hair or chat about adventures or what have you.]

[ Rose Tyler is no stranger to portal jumping, accustomed to blinking and finding herself in another world, another universe, another plane of existence. Home, or her surrogate home, as she's come to think of it, is only a place to dust off her shoes before the next jump. Parallel Earths and alien fields and unfamiliar constellations up above are old hat now.

But Wonderland? The incredulous expression on her face is nearly amused, brown eyes warm and curious as she blinks into the camera, fingers raking lightly through dyed golden hair. Headquarters is going to get an earful about jumbled up cannon coordinates when she gets back. Still, she can't help but be a little fascinated by it all, despite the kink in all of her grand plans, her search for that someone she'll never be able to let go of, not ever. ]

's real, then? The Queen of Hearts and all that. I mean, it's a bit brilliant, really and I'm all about a good cuppa with a mad man every now and then but this isn't exactly what I was aiming for, y'know? The way out... still through the rabbit hole, or is that too easy?

[ There's a brief, uncertain pause, her teeth edging into her lower lip thoughtfully before she carries on, giving in to the other nagging question nearly always on her mind. ]

While I have you... does anyone here know the Doctor?

It's certainly not how I imagined Wonderland from the stories, but...if that's what it's called, then I guess there's no arguing that.

[and okay deep breath coming to terms with being suddenly stuck a place is difficult ok give him a minute.]

But if I'm really going to be stuck here for the foreseeable future, then introductions are in order. My name is Remus Lupin, it's nice to meet you, even if it is under such strange circumstances.

[ Perhaps to exercise cruel and horrifying irony, Rose wakes up in the middle of a rose garden. Furthermore, she finds herself Doctorless and TARDISless. Not that it matters that much. He wasn't there for her back in London, either. Whole of the world in danger and he just... Was unconscious. Unfair it may be of her to be so demanding of him, but the abandonment she felt and still feels pierces like a knife and if anybody knows how to be bitter and petty when wounded, it's Rose. Her arrival is disquieting at best and staggering at worst. The girl who speaks is distressed, and has a very thick London accent. ]

What's all this, then? Some sort of -- transport? Well, you've gone and got yourself in a bit of a twist, haven't you? 'Cause I'm not alone. Not ever. He wouldn't just leave me here. This place. Strange, innit? Bit... Spring-like. Nice, for a kidnapping. And callin' it Wonderland, hah!

[ She really does crack up, bust out laughing. Is that a nervous edge to her voice? Perhaps. Perhaps it is. But she hides it well. ]

Fat lot of good that name is. No... Stoned caterpillar or nothin', is there? Alright then, identify yourselves! Who's behind all this? He's gonna find me, y'know. He'll wake up. He'll come for me.
